摘要
近10年来,国内学者运用标记理论对汉英层级形容词的标记性进行了深入的研究,取得了丰硕的成果。研究成果使我们对层级形容词的语义结构有了新认识,但也遗留了不少规则例外,直接挑战了标记理论的解释力。本文从认知语言学的视角重新审视了形容词的语义结构以及与标记理论的关联,发现结构主义语言学范式下所谓的标记性规则例外案例在认知语言学的视角下均得到了合理的释解,有力说明了标记理论的解释力是毋容置疑的。
In the past decade,the research on the markedness in gradable adjective-antonyms has facilitated a better understanding of the semantic structure of gradable adjective-antonyms.But on the other hand,there also turn up some exceptions for the Markedness Theory from the light of structuralist linguistics.This paper attempts to explore the markedness problems from the perspective of cognitive linguistics,claiming that the Markedness Theory has a sound explanatory power for linguistic phenomena on various levels.
