By defining what is a reliable test of metro vehicles and maing reference to the undergoing test of foreign vehicles in Guangzhou Metro, the author suggests that 3 min delay in running and an average 100,000 km stop-pageless operation shall be the index of reliability for the home - manufactured vehicles.
