摘要
采用添加稀土元素Er变质处理制备了A356半固态合金,通过对含Er元素A356半固态合金成形铸件的组织观察及硬度测试,研究稀土Er对半固态成形的A356合金组织及性能的影响。结果指出,合金中添加0.1%的Er可以明显的细化合金组织,使初生-αAl由树枝晶向细小胞状晶和球状晶转变,同时,添加少量Er可以很好的变质细化共晶硅相,使板块状的共晶硅细化,从而使半固态合金的力学性能得到增强。
The A356 alloy was solidified by addition of rare earth metals(erbium).The effect of erbium on morphology and mechanical properties of semi-solid A356 alloy was investigated.The result reveals that the addition of erbium(0.1%) promotes the morphology of A356 alloy and change the morphology of primary α-Al grains from rosette to spherical shape with refinement of grain size.Meanwhile,the additions of rare earth metals modify eutectic silicon,promote a transition of the morphology of the eutectic silicon phase from a flake-like configuration to a fine shape.So that the mechanical properties of semi-solid A356 alloy were enhance.
