摘要
从热传导理论、法布里-珀罗(F-P)腔和光学双稳态理论出发,推导出产生光学双稳态的临界入射光功率的公式。讨论了F-P腔反射镜R_F及R_B的最佳选择,同时也讨论了F-P腔夹层的非线性介质材料、腔长等的选择。理论上可使产生光学双稳态的临界入射功率小到几微瓦。
On the basis of the heat conduction theory. Fabry-perot cavity and optical testability, we deduced a formula of critically incindent power above which thermo-optical bistability can occur.The optimal selection for the reflectivity H? and Rs of F-P mirrors, nonlinear optical layer in F-P cavity and cavity-length was discussed. According to this theory, the critical switching power could be as low as a few watts.
