摘要
叙述了虚拟制造技术的含义、构成及发展情况，分析了在虚拟制造中占有重要地位的机械加工过程仿真，提出了机械加工过程仿真的系统结构、发展现状及存在的问题，讨论了车削加工过程仿真及其实现的可能性。
In this paper,the meaning,construction and development of virtual manufacturing technology were proposed.Meanwhile,manufacturing process simulation was analyzed and this included systematic structure,development and problems to be solved in the future.At last,we presented the simulation of turning process and its possibility to be realized.
