摘要
开抗早花红是河南省开封市农林科学研究院以自选纯合自交系开封43号为母本,外引材料和本所材料杂交纯合而成的自交系开封118号为父本杂交选育而成的西瓜新品种。早熟,全生育期约97 d,果实发育期28 d。植株长势稳健,分枝性中等。单性花,雌花率16%~18%。果实椭圆形,果皮绿色上覆深绿色锯齿条带,皮厚1.2 cm,坚韧;瓤色红,中心可溶性固形物10.8%,质脆多汁,风味纯正。单果质量4~5 kg,667 m2产量3 500 kg左右。种子中等大小,黑褐色,千粒质量38 g。适宜河南及气候相似地区种植。
Kaikang Zaohuahong is a diploid hybrid watermelon variety developed by using Kaifeng-43 as female parent and Kaifeng-118 as male parent.The fruit matures about 28 days from pollination.The plant has moderate to strong vigor and medium level of branching.The plant is monoecious and frequency of female flower is 16%-18%.The fruit is short oblong and average weight 5 kg.The durable rind is 1.2 cm in thickness and has light green skin and green narrow stripes.The flesh is crisp,juicy and tasty with soluble solids content 10.8% in center portion.667 m2 yield is about 3 500 kg under normal condition.Kaikang Zaohuahong is suitable for production in Henan and other areas with similar climate conditions.
