摘要
本文研究跨中截面有侧向偏心支撑的双轴对称截面压杆的屈曲问题,重点讨论了支撑偏心大小变化对压杆承载力的影响。研究发现,如压杆侧向无支撑时发生弯曲屈曲,那么为提高压杆承载力而设置带有偏心的侧向支撑是不利的;反之,如压杆无侧向支撑时发生扭转屈曲,那么,偏心支撑比中心支撑能更有效地提高压杆的屈曲荷载。基于上述结论,本文对Hartford体育馆网架倒塌事故进行了分析,并指出了事故的两个主要原因。
This paper reports on a study of the buckling of a column eccentrically braced at itsmidheight in the weak dircetion. Emphasis is put on the influence of the brace eccentricityon the load carrying capacity of the column. It is found that if the column which isunbraced is more liable to buckle flexurally, then heavier brace is required to slabilize thebraced column when the bracing eccentricity exists; on the other hand, if the unbraced co-lumn is more liable to buckle torsionally, then the bracing eccentricity is necessary to in-crease the buckling load of the braced column efficiently. According to the above theoreti-cal analysis, the collapse of the space-truss roof of the Hartford Coliseum is analysed andtwo main causes for the failure are proposed.
