ased on the inspection in site,the material analysis (the chemical composition and metallurgical microstructure) and the strength calculation of the heat exchangers flat side vessel,it is concluded that the failure of the vessel results from the design thinkness inadequacy,the welding procedures mistake and the defects in the welding.
