摘要
针对星上高速遥感数据实时压缩要求,选用多模式自适应量化压缩算法,设计了同步并行阵列与流水线相结合的压缩系统体系结构,并以可编程序门阵列物理实现.采用四路压缩系统并行的阵列结构,研制成功高速数据压缩原理样机,数据处理速度大于1000 Mbit/s,恢复图像平均峰值信噪比大于40dB.
Hardware implementation of Multi\|Mode Adaptive Quantization Compression (MMAQC) algorithm for high speed image compression is investigated. Using pipeline and synchronization parallel arrays, the VLSI architectures for modeling, quantization and coding are proposed. The proposed hardware architectures are fast with low hardware complexity. Based on the architectures, a prototype of high speed image compression device for satellite is designed and manufactured with Field Programmable Gate Arrays. Test results show that at compression ratio of four, the processing speed of the device is above 1?000?Mbit/s, and the average PSNR of restored images is above 40?dB.
