摘要
为了在生成六面体网格时将源曲面的网格有效投影到目标曲面,文中提出了一种基于内在特征和能量约束的曲面网格投影新算法.首先通过网格参数化方法将源网格和目标基准网格投影到平面上,然后利用网格内在特征表示方法和网格变形能量将平面上的源网格映射到目标基准网格上,并最终投影到目标曲面上获得目标网格.应用实例表明,该算法稳定可靠,可以实现多个曲面之间的网格投影,而且保证目标网格不会产生自交,非常适用于六面体网格的生成.
In order to effectively project the source surface mesh onto the target surface during the generation of a hexahedral mesh,a new algorithm of surface mesh projection is proposed based on intrinsic characteristics and energy constraints.In this algorithm,first,the source surface mesh and the target base mesh are projected onto a planar area via a mesh parameterization process.Then,the source mesh in the planar area is further mapped onto the target base mesh based on the intrinsic characteristics and energy constraints of the mesh.Finally,the target mesh is obtained by the projection of the plane source mesh onto the target surface.Applied examples demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is of high stability and reliability,achieves the mesh projection between multiple surfaces without the self-intersection of target mesh,and is suitable for the generation of hexahedral meshes.
