18世纪的绘画史展现了欧洲启蒙运动的进程。通过对具有代表性的画家和作品的分析讨论,本文提出了几对矛盾而又相互转化的概念:光亮与阴影,忧郁与天赋,理性与感性等等,它们在深层的本质上相互交织。必须以正确的尺度为向导,取得良好平衡的中间状态,才能具有积极的意义。"启蒙的辩证"
The 18th-century pictorial history reflects the course of European Enlightenment. The author discusses several representative painters and works and then proposes pairs of contradictory concepts that may give rise to each other: light and shadows, melancholy and gift, reason and emotion; these concepts are intimately interwoven with one another. It is of a beneficial effect to achieve a well-balanced mean with a steadfast orientation towards the right measure. The "dialectic of enlightenment" reflects the complex nature of human beings and their attempts to improve the world.
