The anodic dissolution processes of stainless steel coil used in endovascular treatment of lntracranial Aneurysms were investigated. The range of current for electrolysis detachment was determined. The effect of different materials and surface pretreatment on pitting potential of stainless steel was also analysed. All of the results would be used for the choice of electrolysis detachtable coil used in embolization of Intracranial Aneurysms via endovascular approach.
