简述了电动自行车的发展情况，详尽论述了能够用于电动自行车的５ 种电池最显著的优缺点。重点对镉镍电池和铅酸电池在电动自行车上的应用做了论述。
The development on electric bicycle was briefly outlined with the outstanding characteristics of the five kinds of batteries which could be used in the electric bicycle.The application of nickel-cadmium battery and lead-acid battery on the electric bicycle,suggestion on how to select the batteries and chargers for the electric bicycles were discussed.
