摘要
真实感图形显示是计算机图形学的重要研究方向之一,在实际的工程应用中,提高几何形体显示质量,以增强人机交互性,同样也是 C A D/ C A M 软件追求的重要目标之一。 Open G L 图形库是由 S G I公司开发的高质量的三维真实感图形开发工具,而工程中广为应用的 S T L 格式文件使用三角形面片来表示三维实体模型;基于对 Open G L 以及 S T L 的研究,提出了使用几 何形体模型数据实现真实 感图形显示的总体思路,并给出了基于 Open G L 的 S T L 格式实体的真实 感显示的具体方法及实现 步骤, 依此设计生成了一个相应的显示工具,其显示效果甚佳、渲染速度很快且操作 简单灵活。鉴 于 Open G L 和 S T L 均为所在领域的工业标准之一。
Realistic image view is one of the most important research fields in computer graphics, and in engineering applications, improving the displaying quality of geometric objects is also a main aim for CAD/CAM software. OpenGL developed by SGI Inc. can generate the 3D realistic image with high quality, and STL express the 3D solid using triangle planes. Based on the research on OpenGL and STL, this paper introduces an thought which realize the realistic image view using 3D solid model’s data, and presents a method and approach to display 3D solid with STL format realistically by using the OpenGL. Correspondingly, a tool based on this method is designed and implemented. It has advantages at both displaying result and displaying time. Beacuse OpenGL and STL are widely used as the industry standards in their respective fields, this paper has practical value and application foreground.
