This paper introduces the most recent status and experience of developing new synthetic fiber products in China Petrochemical Corp.,points out the severe situation of market competition right now, analyzes the impact of entering WTO on domestic synthetic fiber industry,and finally stresses several specific aspects of our work urgent for developing new synthetic fiber products.
