输入模态对第二语言理解和附带词汇习得的影响 被引量:40

Input Modality Effects on Second Language Comprehension and Incidental Vocabulary Acquisition

摘要 本研究通过控制对比实验探究视觉、听觉和视听输入给第二语言理解和附带词汇习得造成的影响。当学习者语言能力有限时,视觉理解能力优先于听觉理解能力,而听觉输入可能干扰视觉模态的加工;在附带词汇习得方面,视觉组和视听组都显著优于听觉组,而视觉组和视听组差别不大。理解和词汇习得的相关度因输入模态不同而异。 This controlled experiment investigates the effects of input modality upon second language comprehension and incidental vocabulary acquisition.It is found that being limited in language proficiency,the learners comprehend visual input better than aural input.Simultaneous aural input mode inhibits the comprehension of visual input.Visual input mode leads to better incidental vocabulary acquisition than aural mode.The correlation between comprehension and incidental vocabulary acquisition varies with different input modes.
