摘要
闽东南沿海老红砂分布广泛,发育较典型,但迄今对其成因多有不同认识.本文在进行全面野外调查和一系列的室内分析的基础上,认为本研究区的老红砂主要是由风吹扬海滩砂形成的,局部地方有坡积和冲积等成因.
The 'Old Red Sands' are a kind of semi - cemented medium-fine sandy sediments with red or brown red colour, and are quite typical and widespread along the coast of southeast Fujian Province. Based on the field investigations and lab studies ( including the analysis of grainsize,SEM, giochemistry, XRD, and the datings of TL. , ESR and 14C),we suggest that the 'Old Red Sands' are mainly ancient coastal wind-drift sands. The forming ages of the old red sandy sediments may be divided into two stages of 60～45kaBP, and 30～10 kaBP, in which they formed seperately in the period of the early Wurm glacial substage and of the late Wurm glacial substage.
