摘要
本文首次描记了内蒙古阿拉善左旗北部苏红图盆地早白垩世苏红图组火山岩夹层中的介形类,计2属14种,其中新种5个。这些化石材料为解决该区火山岩地层的时代提供了依据。
The present paper reports for the first time the ostracodes from the SuhongtuFormation of the Suhongtu basin in the northern part of the Shalaza Mountain,Alxazuoqi, Inner Mongolia. The Suhongtu Formation is mainly composed of moderately basic lava inter-calated with three layers of sedimentary strata, yielding ostracodes in two layers ofthe middle and upper parts. In this paper, 14 species (including 5 new species)in 2 genera are described and illustrated, among which 9 species are extensivelydistributed in the Early Cretaceous strata in the vast area of Mongolia and North China.Therefore,the age of the Suhongtu Formation may be determined as EarlyCretaceous.
