摘要
本文记述太原西山东缘晚石炭世(虫筳)类Montiparus,Triticites,Dunbarinella,Schwagerina,Pseudofusulina,Eoparafusulina,Rugosofusulina,Quasifusulina,Occidentoschwagerina,Pse-udoschwagerina,Nankinella等11属57种(变种),其中9属34种(变种)系在区内首次报道或图影首次发表;并论证含(虫筳)地层与苏联 Kasimovian阶上部—Sakmarian阶下部、北美Missou-rian阶上部—Wolfcampian阶中部层位相当。文中试将太原西山东缘晚石炭世(虫筳)类生态地层初步划分为:半局限陆表海(海湾)生态位的庙沟灰岩层的Rugosofusulina borealis-Eoparafu-sulina qiligouensis群落和东大窑灰岩层的Pseudoschwagerina texana群落;开阔陆表海生态位的吴家峪灰岩层的Triticites simplex-Triticites noinskyi群落和毛沟灰岩层、斜道灰岩层的Dunbarinella nathorsit-Dunbarinella nathorsti var.laxa-Dunbarinella subnathorsti群落;最后对产自太原西山东缘的若干Rugosofusulina分子进行了修订。
The Late Carboniferous fusulinaceans illustrated in this paper were collectedfrom, in ascending order, the Wujiayu, Miaogou, Maogou, Xiedao and Dongdayaolimestone layers at the Western Hills of Taiyuan. The fauna consists of 57 species and subspecies in the genera Montiparus, Triticites, Quasifusulina, Dunbarinella, Sch-wagerina, Rugosofusulina, Eoparafusulina,Pseudofusulina,Occidentoschwagerina,Pseudo-schwagerina, and Nankinella.Their stratigraphical distribution and measurementsare listed in Tables 2 and 3 respectively in the Chinese text. Biostratigraphical correlation of the fusulinaceans demonstrates that the LateCarboniferous fusulinid-bearing strata composed of the above-mentioned limestonelayers in the Western Hills of Taiyuan are approximately corresponding to theupper part of the Kaslmovian Stage to the lower part of the Sakmarian Stage inthe USSR, and to the upper part of the Missourian Stage to the middle part ofthe Wolfcampian Stage in the United States; especially, the highest fusulinid-bearing limestone layer, i. e., the upper part of the Dongdayao limestone layeryielding Schwagerina moelleri var. aequalis (Schellwien), S. paraimplicata (Kireeva)S. mirabilis (Rauser), S. conspiqua forma firmissima (Rauser), S. marina melica(Grozdilova et Lebedeva) and Pseudoschwagerina texana Dunbar et Skinner, P. uberThompson et Hazzard, Pseudofusulina moranensis Thompson, Eoparafusulina linearis(Dunbar et Skinner) ,Schwagerina dioersiformis Dunbar et Skinner, etc., is equi-valent to the lower part of the Sakmarian Stage in the Urals and Central Asia inthe USSR, and to Zone E of the McCloud limestone in Northern California aswell as to the lower part of the Pseudoschwagerina gerontica convexa--Chalaroschwa-gerina-Monodiexodina linearis Zone of the Wolfcampian Stage in the United States.Biostratigraphical correlations of the fusulinid-bearing strata in Taiyuan withCentral Asia, the Russian platform, the Urals and USA are given in Table 4 inthe Chinese text. Four Late Carboniferous fusulinid ecological communities have been recognizedin the Western Hills of Taiyuan. The Rugosofusulina borealis-Eoparafusulina qiligou-ensis community occurs in the Miaogou limestone layer and the Pseudoschwagerinatexana community (including the Eoparafusulina obtusa subcommunity and the Rugo-sofusulina complicata subcommunity)comes from the Dongdayao limestone layer,which lived on a semi-restricted, gently sloping carbonate platform in a semi-res-tricted epeiric sea with lower energy;it is dominated by Rugosofusulina with thinnerspirotheca and Eoparafusulina with cylindrical shell and a larger form ratio. TheTriticites simplex-Triticites noinskyi community occupies the Wujiayu limestone layerand the Dunbarinella nathorsti var.laxa-Dunbarinella nathorsti-Dunbarinella subnathorsticommunity is from the Maogou and Xiedao limestone layers, which lived on anopen, gently sloping carbonate platform in an open epelric sea with low energy;they are characterized by rich Triticites and Dunbarinella with thicker spirothecaand a fusiform shell. Succession of the Late Carboniferous fusulinid ecologicalcommunities in the Western Hills of Taiyuan is shown in Table 5 in the Chinesetext.
