摘要
本文报道的海相介形类化石采自安徽巢湖市狮子口五通群的上部,这是五通群中海相介形类的首次报道。这一介形类化石群含有18属20种(其中3新种),隶属于9个科;以Chamishaellaanhuiensis sp·nov.-Knoxiella compressa Rozhd.-Acratia longituda McGill组合为代表。 根据介形类组合的面貌、种的分布及其共生化石,认为这一海相介形类化石组合的地质时代为晚泥盆世(很可能具有泥盆纪—石炭纪过渡期的可能性),并认为产出这一介形类组合地层的沉积环境为非正常盐度的浅海,很可能为滨岸半咸水泻湖—滨海地带。
The marine ostracode fauna of the Wutung Group is reported in this paperfor the first time in China. The poorly preserved marine ostracodes collected from the upper part of theWutung Group (Bed 16) in Chaohu City, Anhui (Fig. 1) are represented by theassemblage of Charnishaella anhuiensis Chen et Bao sp. nov.-Knoxiella cornpressaRozhd.-Acratia longituda McGill, with 18 genera and 20 species (including 3 newspecies) belonging to 9 families. According to their general aspects, distri-bution of species, and some other evidences, this marine ostracode fauna may beassigned to Late Devonian (probably transitional interval from Devonian to Car-boniferous), and the ostracode-bearing bed may be regarded as of the nearshorebrackish water (lagoon)--littoral facies. The discovery of this marine ostracode fauna provides important evidence forstudies of Devonian--Carboniferous paleoenvironment and biostratigraphy in theYangtze Region of South China.
