摘要
所谓新石器化（neolithization）,是指人类从旧石器时代或中石器时代到新石器时代的转变过程。这一课题近年来成为国际史前考古学界和人类学家们关注的焦点之一,它的内容大致包括几个方面：新石器化产生的原因,旧石器或中石器时代向新石器时代过渡的模式,与新石器化相关的农业的起源与传播、陶器的起源与传播、磨制石器的起源,定居的起源以及社会结构复杂化等。
Neolithization is the transformation process of the human race from Paleolithic or Mesolithic Ages to Neolithic Age.The main areas subject to the researches on the Neolithization are Southwest Asia,Far East,Northeast Asia,Europe,etc.The depths,results and theories of the researches related to these areas are different from each other,the main aspects of which are the modes of the transformation from Paleolithic or Mesolithic Ages to Neolithic Age,the origination and diffusion of agriculture related to Neolithization,the origination and diffusion of potteries,the origination of polished stone implements,the beginning of sedentary settlements and the social complexity,etc.
