In view of the defects of the mechanical model previously advanced concerning straightening deformation on the roller strainghtener, a new and more reasonable mechanical model has been presented in this article.In light of elastoplastic theory, the refined formulas about parameter calculation are put forward, too.In the end, it is proved by the test that the theory is reasonable.
