The paper begins with pointing out the necessity of micro cellular wireless paging service in case of emergent calls. Then it describes the principles of a point to multipoint communication system and main characteristics of the multiple access protocols including TDMA, FDMA and CDMA. Finally, it discusses the components and structure of wireless emergency paging system and presents the methods of implementing micro cellular point to multipoint wireless emergency paging system using a single chip microcomputer.
