摘要 在过去,要远距离输送大功率电力几乎无一例外地采用了高压直流(HVDC)输电线路。HVDCLight门、型高压直流输电技术)是在电压源换流器和绝缘栅双极晶体管基础上开发出来的一种新型输电技术。它将HVDC输电的经济功率范围扩展到了只有数个兆瓦的程度。此外,由于其成本竞争优势也可以使其作为一种选用方案来替代建设常规交流输电线路或者在当地建设电厂的做法,例如在偏远地区或者在一个小岛上就可以考虑采用HVDCLight。将来,该技术还有可能用于提高交流电网供电质量。 In the past, high-voltage DC links have been used almost exclusively to transmit very high powersover long distances. HVDC Light is a new transmission technology based on voltage sourced converters and insulatedgate bipolar transistors that extends the economical power range of HVDC transmission down to just a few mega-watts. Besides being a cost-competitive altemative to conventional AC transmission and local generation, for examplein remote regions and on small islands, it also opens up new possibilities for improving the quality of supply in ACpower networks.
