摘要
本文在深入分析SNMP协议和远程监控 (RMON)网管技术的基础上 ,提出了一种基于SNMPv2的中层管理者设计方法 .该方法具有下列优点 :( 1 )它的管理信息库设计遵循SNMPv2 -SMI标准 ,并弥补了M2MMIB(SNMPv2中层管理者管理信息库 )的不足 ;( 2 )它的轮询方法和报警机制优于现有 (文献[1]中 )的同类产品 ;( 3)选用IETF(因特网工程任务组 )最近推荐的安全协议[2 ] 作通信协议具有很好的安全性和互操作性 。
This paper presents a design method of SNMPv2-based midlevel manager,which is based on a thorough analysis of SNMP protocol and RMON network management technology.Such a design method is supposed to have following advantages:(1)Its management information base is designed in conformity with the SNMPv2-SMI standard,and will remedy the defects of M2M MIB(Management Information Base of SNMPv2 midlevel manager);(2)Its polling way and alarming mechanism is superior to the existiong products of the same type(as in document[1]);(3)It uses SNMPv2 security protocol[2] suggested by IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) for communication protocol,which has better security and interoperability,and can be easily integrated with any network management system of supporting SNMPv2 protocol.
