摘要
计算了 Pr: Y I G 中 Pr3+ 离子的 Faraday 旋转.计算过程中,认为激发态 4f5d 的总自旋量子数 S = sd + Sf 及耦合量子数 J= S+ Lf 是好量子数,应用这种理论模型计算的结果与用激发态能量实验数据计算的结果符合良好。
In this paper, the excited states energy levels and the Faraday rotation of the Pr 3+ ions in Pr:YIG is calculated. The calculation use the theory model that in the excited states of 4f5d configuration, the total spin S=s d+S f and a composite angular momentum J=S+L f are good quantum number. The good agreement between the result calculated using this coupling scheme and the result calculated using the measured values of excited states energy levels proves the correctness of the model and of the parameters used.
