摘要
SMA混合料是一种新型的沥青混合料结构,它具有特殊的组成结构。本文采用体积设计法这一新的设计思想设计了SMA混合料级配。这种级配能够保证粗骨架充分嵌挤和玛蹄脂充分填充作用。试验结果说明采用体积法设计的混合料既具有优良的高温稳定性和低温抗裂性,又具有良好的抗清性能和抗疲劳性能。
Stone Matrix Asphalt(SMA), as a new mode and premium mixture, has gained much attention in road design. Recognized for its peculiar structure, the aggregates gradation of SMA mixture was designed by means of Void Design Procedure(VDP) in this paper. Due to both the gap - graded nature of SMA mixes and the relatively large proportion of asphalt cement, the gradation designed by VDP can ensure the formation of a stone framework by creating significant stone - on - stone contact among the coarse aggregate, and the for mation of a thick matrix film by mastic filling this framework. The test result has proven to deliver improved durability and resistance to rutting and fatigue cracking.
