Methyl pentynol(MP), an acid inhibitor, was used specially in acidizing field of oil or natural gas under high temperature and concentrated acid, with good quality and efficiency as well as market prospects. MP was synthesized under nearly ordinary temperature and pressure, with simple process and high yield. The good economic and social benefit would be forecasted after putting into production.
