摘要
介绍了高倍率Sc型MH-Ni电池的研制情况。该电池正负极均采用泡沫式涂浆工艺制作而成。对极板的制作、电池的集流及化成条件等进行了探讨,对电池的电化学性能进行了测试。结果显示,在镍电极中加入适量Co和Zn的氧化物,可有效地提高活性物质利用率,使正负极板的体积比容量分别达到520mAh/cm3和1100mAh/cm3以上;将原有的单极耳改为多极耳集流,提高了电池的高倍率放电性能;将活化温度控制在30℃~50℃,可使电池在3周期~4周期内达到完全活化。研制出的Sc型MH-Ni电池具有2500mAh以上的容量,可进行1C率快速充电,12A放电时1.1V以上容量占60%以上。
R&D of high rate Sc Ni MH battery with pasted foamed nickel MH electrode and Ni elctrode is introduced in this paper. The manufacture of electrodes, the current collector and the formation condition of the battery were discussed and the electrochemical performances were also tested. The results show that, the utilization of the active material is effectively enhanced by adding oxides of Co and Zn into the Ni electrode. The specific capacity in volume of the positive and negative electrodes exceeds 520mAh/cm 3 and 1100mAh/cm 3 respectively. The performance of high rate discharge was improved through changing the uniterminal to multi terminal to accumulate current. The battery can be activiated completely in 3~4 cycles by controlling the temperature at 30℃~50℃. The battery developed has capacity of more than 2500mAh and can be charged at 1C rate. The capacity is more than 60% of the total at 12A while output voltage is above 1.1V.
