摘要
英语作为信息的传递工具在各项活动中发挥着越来越重要的作用，专业英语在学生的全面素质教育中占有重要地位。本文通过分析高职高专院校专业英语教学中所存在的问题，运用现代教育教学思想观点，从专业英语重要性、师资队伍建设、教材建设、评测体系等方面探讨提高专业英语教学质量的途径。
English, as a medium for giving information, plays more and more important role in social events. Specialized English occupies an important position in the students＇ education of comprehensive quality. Through analyzing the problem of teaching of specialized English in higher vocational colleges, using the ideas of modem educa- tion teaching, the paper discusses the way of improving the teaching quality of specialized English from the different aspect, such as, the importance, construction of teachers and textbooks, and the system of tests.
