摘要
本文着重讨论了在计算机字形设计过程中光栅显示器上曲线特征点的提取问题。给出了曲线字形轮廓的特征点提取和消除冗余的新方法。指出采用递归迭代思想可得到适合于字形轮廓特征点提取的快速算法。给出对于不同文字进行特征点提取的实验结果,大量例子证明本算法是可行的。
Detecting feature points from raster curves is one of the critical parts in font design. In the detecting of feature points, a concise method based on curvature and redundancy-free method are discussed, examples of detecting feature points of characters of different languages are shown, which prove the feasibility of the algorithms.
