The effects of bio-informatics on biological research were summarized in this article.The application survey of bio-informatics in bio-technology,bio-medicine,agriculture,food,environment,energy,and other research fields was also introduced.The significance of bio-informatics to serve the biological scientific research was elaborated as well.
