摘要
根据作者提出的确定食双星基本参量的一个新方法,由光变极小时刻求出了相接双星大熊座AW的基本参量。证实了Rensing等人为了矫正相接双星邻近效应引起的谱线轮廓畸变所提出的模型对该双星的适用性;同时也证实了Mochnaski提出的计算相接双星质量的理论模型对该双星的适用性。另外还确认了大熊座AW是一个已演化的零龄相接双星。
Applying the light-time orbit effect of eclipsing binary systems, we determined the absolute dimensions of the contact binary system AW UMa from observed times of minimum light. The present results agree well with Rensing's results determined by Griffin-type cross-correlation techniques to measure radial velocity of th;e primary component and with the theoretical model to estimate the distortion of the measured radial velocity curve due to proximity effect. Because the present method has no relation with spectral observations, the correspondence of two results determined by the present method and Rensing's method proves,.that Rensing's theoretical model to correct line profiles for AW UMa is reasonable.The present results are in good agreement with the evolutionary theories of contact binaries. According to Liu's method to estimate evolutionary state of contact binaries (Liu, 1987), AW UMa is an evolved zero-age contact bina ry system. The mass ratio in zero-age was found to be q = 10.028.
