摘要
本研究以霍华德·加德纳的多元智能理论作为参照,结合当前高职院校的公共英语教学特点,提出了新的“知识+应用技能”,“课堂内+课堂外”的教学模式;继而对该教学模式进行了的实验验证。实验的结果表明:新的教学模式比传统的教学模式表现出更多的优越性;对于学生的知识提高和能力培养都有较大的促进作用。
Based on Howard Gardner's theory of multi - dimensional intelligence and combined with the teaching methods popular in vocational colleges, this paper puts forward a new English teaching model of Knowledge + Skills and Classroom Learning + Extracurricular Practice. The new model was also experimented, the result of which shows that the new model is much superior to the old ones and helps improve students'knowledge and practical skills.
