地理信息系统(GIS)是一种采集、存储、管理、分析、显示与应用地理信息的计算机系统,是分析和处理海量地理数据的通用技术;森林资源管理主要是对森林、林地和林木资源综合管理,也是对森林的综合信息及因子进行分析、研究,建立森林地理空间数据库,运用先进的数字化管理方法,科学管理森林资源。
GIS has been a system helping to collect,store,manage,analyze and present information and also the techniques for processing large scale information.Forest resources management is an integrated management of forest,forest land as well as trees.It helps to process and manage the data to improvement forest management.
