摘要
木本观赏植物是园林植物的重要组成部分。为了进一步开发和应用太原地区现有的木本观赏植物种质资源，作者在收集、参阅有关文献资料的基础上，对太原地区１００ 多种木本观赏植物的特性、习性、园林应用、地理分布等进行了较详尽的调查分析，并就其在园林中的应用前景进行了讨论。
With a variety of forms and colors,woody ornamental plants is a important component of ornamental gardens.In order to develop and apply existing woody ornamental plant resource,the authors collected and consulted documents and data concerned,exhaustively investigated and studied more than 100 species of the plants on their characteristics,habits,applying in gardens,geographical distribution,and discussed the applying prospects of the plant resources in gardens.
