摘要
本文对目前使用的一些地质年代术语提出意见和建议。如主张将"Archaeozoic"和"Proterozoic"仍译为"太古代"和"元古代",同属于"隐生宙",将"隐生宙"与"显生宙"并列;"Anthropogen"应译为"人近纪"或"灵近纪";"Anthropocene"应译为"人新世"等。
The author put forward some views on the terms of geological chronology. For ＂Archaeozoic＂ and ＂ Proterozoic＂, they should be upgraded to Ion （Ionothem） and be juxtaposed with that the ＂Phanerozoic＂ and the ＂Proterozoic＂, and still belonge to the Cryptozoon ton （lionothern）. As to the Paeaeogen and the Neogen, they should be translated respectively to ＂Gu jin ji＂ and ＂Xing jin ji＂, and the ＂Anthropocene＂ must be translated to ＂Ren jin ji＂ or ＂Ling jin ji＂, but not ＂Ren nei ji＂or ＂Ling sheng ji＂. Because the terms of epochs within the Cenozoic have been totally provided with the suffix ＂-cene＂ （新）, the ＂Anthropocene＂ must not be translated to ＂Ren lei shi＂, but to ＂Ren xing shi＂.
