摘要
交流模式是指在作者、读者互动前提下进行文本分析,特别强调文本的意义如何通过某种方式传递给读者。韦恩.布斯的《小说修辞学》和詹姆斯.费伦的《作为修辞的叙事》是修辞性叙事理论框架中交流模式转变的代表性著作。本文以这两部著作为理论基础,着重于费伦对布斯的继承与超越,探讨在修辞性叙事理论框架中文本交流模式是如何由作者本体论到作者、文本、读者循环互动推进的,通过文本交流模式发展轨迹和完善过程的描述,不仅可以使我们看到叙事理论的优势和特长,而且使我们认识到,叙事理论的修辞性转向有着坚实的理论支撑,它为小说理论研究和批评实践提供了更为开放的空间。
Communion model is a kind of literature analyzing process under the interaction of the authors and readers,which especially emphasis how the authors send their literature meanings to readers.Wayne C Booth＇s The Rhetoric of Fiction and James Phelan＇s Narrative as Rhetoric are representative works which are about the change of the communion model in the rhetorical narrative theory.With the theory foundation of these two works,this article stresses on Phelan＇s heritage from Booth and his advantages compared with Booth,and also analyses how the literature communion model impels the circulative communion from narratology to author text and reader.Through the expression of the development of textual communion model,we get the advantages of narrative theory and realize that the charge of rhetorical narrative theory has a strong theory foundation,which opens the doors to the study of novel theory and criticism.
