The conditions on the pair (u,v) of weight functions are given so that the integral operator Tf(x)=∫ ∞ 0K(x,y)f(y) d y is bounded from the Lorentz space L rs (u) into another one L pq (v) ,where K≥0 is increasing in x or decreasing in y respectively. In particular, the Hardy operator and Laplace transform operator are the model cases of such operator T .
