摘要
《美国的悲剧》对20世纪二十年代的美国社会进行了集中的、典型的、深刻的描写。文章通过对小说文本的解析,剖析了其悲剧性不仅在于揭露社会制度的丑恶和小人物的悲惨命运,而更在于作为国家文化核心的进取精神、家庭伦理、爱情信念、宗教信仰等人文传统和价值体系的迷失,从中折射出时代的"深层悲剧"。
American Traged in the 20th century. The tragedi fares of the ＂little people, values, and the core of the beliefs, and thus,＂the deep y gives a comprehensive, typical,and profound description of the American society es in the novel not only expose the ugliness of the social institutions and the tragic ＂ but also analyze, through the fate of Clyde, the abandon of American human traditions, national culture at the time,which include entrepreneurial spirit, family ethics,love and tragedy ＂ of the times is explored.
