摘要
在冬（１２～２月）、夏（６～８）两季，分别选用１～６月龄美系力克斯兔各５只，以“五点取样法”，即在肩甲、背中、体侧中、臀部和腹中５个部位，用工业用游标卡尺与家兔纵轴垂直方向测定１ｃｍ宽度的被毛厚度，然后屠宰、钉皮和晾皮，待皮干燥后再测量同一部位的被毛厚度。以“毛面取样法”获取样皮（约１ｃｍ２的矩形）和样皮“重量比例法”测定被毛密度。研究表明，力克斯兔的被毛密度随着月龄的增加而增加，５月龄达到高峰，６月龄所有下降，３月龄前是被毛密度快速增加期；不同季节被毛密度有所不同，冬季略高于夏季，但差异不显著；不同部位被毛密度有较大差异，以腹中部最低，臀部最高，背中和体侧中部具有较强的代表性；本研究根据被毛密度和被毛厚度的相关关系计算出被毛系数，使獭兔被毛密度的测定定量化、简易化和实用化，对于獭兔的选育及商品皮的收购定级具有重大意义。
American Rex rabbits(1～6 month-old)were selected in winter(Dec ～Feb )and summer(Jun ～Aug )respectively and the wool thickness(1 cm width) were measured at scapula,middle of back,middle of one side of body,buttocks and middle of belly respectively by five point sample-taking method.The thickness was measured again at the same points after the rabbits were slaughtered and the density was counted.The observation indicated: 1 The wool density increased with time before 5-months-old and especially before 3-months-old. 2 The wool density differed in different seasons and the winter's was thicker then the summer's(P>0 05) 3 There were significant discrepancies among the locations.The middle of belly was thinnest while the buttocks'was thickest.It was typical at the middle of one side of body and at the middle of back. In the study,the wool coefficient was calculated according to the correlation between wool density and thickness.This made wool density-measuring quantitative,simple and practical.It is important for Rex rabbit breeding and fur grading.
