摘要
开放大学起源于国外,经过50多年的运行与发展,已成为许多国家高等教育的重要力量。在我国,创办开放大学是社会主义现代化建设的发展需要,同时也是建设全民学习、终身学习的学习型社会的重大历史任务。因此,研究和借鉴国外开放大学的办学经验,从中国区域发展不平衡的实际现状出发,重点建设省级区域开放大学,对推进中国高等教育的发展、应对学习型社会的需求具有重要意义。
Open university originated from abroad,with over 50 years＇ operation and development,already became important strength of many countries＇ higher education.In China,setting up open university is needs of building the sociatist modernizations and everyone learming society.So the research and reference of foreign open universities＇ experiences,mainly building the provincial regional open universities from China＇s unbalanced regional development reality,are significant to promote China＇s development of higher education and cope the needs of the learning-oriented society.
