摘要
本文简述了光纤带的性能特征和标准，介绍了带状光缆尤其是骨架式带状光缆的发展情况。文中最后提到国内几家大厂估计化了２００多万美元引进设备制造出层绞式带状光缆，而我们也许可以化不多的钱改造旧设备来制造骨架式带状光缆，争取进入带状光缆市场。
This paper describes the important characteristics of fiber ribbons and the standards for them, also presents the development of fiber ribbon cables, especially the slottedcore fiber ribbon cable. The author suggests that we may make slottedcore fiber ribbon cables using our existing equipment, so as to entering the market of fiber ribbon cables. The existing equipment only need to be improved with less investment. Contrarily, some cable works invested more then 2 million USD to import equipment making fiber ribbon cable with stranded loose tube structure.
