风水源于古代确立城市的外部环境和建筑择址的一种学说。风水文化具体反映在中国古代书院的基址选择上,体现了古代书院文化与中华文化之间的密切关系。探索风水文化与中国古代书院选址的关系,理解古代书院注重用外部自然环境营造办学氛围,对现代教育机构的选址具有参考意义。
Geomantic culture derived from ideas in ancient cities for establishing their external environment and selecting building location.The geomantic culture is specifically reflected in selection of ancient Chinese academies location,showing close connection between academy culture and Chinese culture.Exploring the relationship of geomantic culture with selection of ancient Chinese academy location and understanding that those academies utilized their external natural environment to create school atmosphere are of reference for selection of modern educational institutions.
