摘要
本文讨论了珠江口以西陆架海域夏季(6—9月)的上升流现象,文中选用了部分水文断面和温度递减量的图解,讨论了该海域上升流的影响范围、强度和位置及其特征。
Some component of circulation was computed in this paper to establish hydrological forecast model, based on the results from our previous papers and from those of other authous about physical oceanography in coastal waters. Colculative results show : (1)jet velocity is about 70cm/s just off the estury of Zhujiang in summer, and further off shore, its spreading speed is about 40cm/s, moving in a way similar to the conceptual model in paper^([1]). This spreading speed reduces to about 10cm/s) while the jets thickness is one meter; (2)upwelling velocity is 6.3×10^(-4)cm/s, when wind velocity is 5m/s, and the horizontal width of upwelling zone is 111km. This value is in agreement with the value estimated in our upwelling papers^([2]); velocity of upwelling in different wind speed and width of upwelling zone is given; The upwelling velocity is 6.3×10^(-4)~50×10^(-4)cm/s in the waters of eastern Hainan Island; (3)the offcoast velocity in the upwelling zone is about 12.4cm/s;(4)Based on the hydrographic section observations, we obtaim the 'friction depth' of wind-drift when W>6m/s, the D=5.2W/(sinφ)^(1/2); W>6m/s, D=2.3W/(sinφ)^(1/2), and the wind-drift velocity is U_D=0.0175W/(sinφ)^(1/2), the direction of drift is deflected to the right about 10°; (5)Due to the lack of data, the subsurface water and mid-water movement is given only in a schematic situation. Subsurface water moves toward the coast in summer, but leaves the coast in winter, its spread velocity is about 4~7cm/s, and the mid-water, onl a little part of this waters, moves opposite to the surface drift.
