The Analysis of the Female Gothic Images in Rebecca

摘要 本文将对其中多次出现的石南花和大海的意象描写进行分析,探究其象征的意义及对塑造哥特式氛围所起的作用。 This paper attempts to analyze the rhododendron image and the sea image which appear frequently in this novel, in order to research into their symbolic meaning and their function in creating a gothic atmosphere.
