摘要
将液晶单体对苯二甲酸二-(4-羧基苯)酯(M1)与1,10癸-二醇、1,12-十二烷二醇和亮黄(BY)合成了一种含有磺酸基的主链液晶离聚物(LCI)。将LCI与聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT),聚乙烯(PE)进行熔融共混制备了PBT/PE/LCI共混物。所合成的共混物通过DSC、三维红外图像系统和拉伸试验等方法进行了热性能、微观形态及力学性能的分析。结果表明,当LCI加入9%(质量分数,下同)时,由于LCI链中的磺酸离子与PBT的酯基形成了离子-偶极作用,增加了PBT和PE的界面粘接力,改善了二者的相容性,同时,共混物的拉伸强度也达到了最大值(24MPa);当LCI含量较大时(>11%),由于LCI自身发生团聚,增容效果变差,力学性能也有所降低。
A liquid crystalline ionomer(LCI) was synthesized by use of an interfacial condensation reaction from hexanedioic acid,4,4′-hydroxybiphenyl and 4-hydroxyazobenzenesulfonic acid.The LCI was blended with poly(butylene terephthalate)(PBT) and polyethylene(PE).The thermal behavior,morphological structure,and mechanical properties of the blends were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR) imaging analysis and tensile measurement.When the 9% LCI is added,it is located at the interface and increases the adhesion of PBT and PP due to ion-dipole between LCI and PBT.The LCI brings about good adhesion at the interfacial,which reduces the disperse phase size and enables a finely PE phase at matrix.The tensile strength of the ternary blends is the maximum(24 MPa) when the 9%LCI is added.Excess amounts of LCI lead to flocculation or coagulation of the dispersed phase.As a result of poor dispersion,the mechanical properties decrease.
