摘要 本文选择北海高岭土为原料,分析了影响高岭土白度的主要因素,并综述目前高岭土增白的物理化学方法,分析此类方法的特点以及存在的问题。介绍一种新的高岭土增白绿色环保的技术:即在弱碱条件下采用稀土催化剂硝酸镧活化二氧化硫脲对高岭土的漂白,强化还原漂白的作用。通过对高岭土中铁的含量、白度值对比以及XRD测试表征,结果显示:本技术漂白后的高岭土中铁的含量明显降低,自然白度和烧成白度增高。 Beihai kaolin has been researched in this experiment.The main factors effected the whiteness of kaolin are analyzed in this paper.Current physical and chemical methods of whitening kaolin is also discussed.The principles,characteristics and open questions of such methods is analysed.This article introduce a new green technology of whitening kaolin,that in weak alkaline conditions,thiourea dioxide activated by lanthanum nitrate catalysts,enhanced the reductive bleaching of kaolin.The obtained kaolin is characterized by contens of iorn oxide in kaolin,whiteness of kaolin and XRD.It has been found that iorn oxide in kaolin is decreased significantly and natural whiteness of kaolin and whiteness after calcinations(1200 ℃) is raised.
