摘要
介绍了一种嵌入式ARM-Linux平台环境下的网络视频监控终端的软件实现方法;重点阐述了Linux下利用Video4Linux提供的API函数进行视频采集的程序实现,介绍了Linux下基于socket编程的视频数据的网络传输,最后利用Java Applet完成了视频的跨平台实时播放;测试结果表明,在图像分辨率为320x240大小时视频传输速率达到25帧每秒,并且可以同时连接10个客户端来察看监控图像;该系统运行稳定、成本较低,可以满足普通办公或是家居环境等室内视频监控的要求。
In this paper, a kind of software realization method of network video monitor terminal based on embedded ARM--Linux is introduced. It mainly illustrates the details of implementing the program of video capture upon the API functions provided by video4Linux and introduces the network transmission of video data based on the socket programming of Linux. Finally, the real--time playing of video is dis- cussed. The test result shows that the video transmission speed can arrive at 25 fps when the image resolution is 320×240 pixels, and it can connect to ten clients at one time to view the supervising image. The system has lower cost with a good stability, it can meets the indoor video monitoring requirements of common office or household environment.
