摘要
文章从部分图书馆员匆忙备战英语职称考试的现象入手,阐述了提高图书馆员英语素质的必要性,指出了提高图书馆员英语水平的途径以及图书馆员如何运用英语为读者提供更深层次的信息服务的方法。
Based on some librarians＇ hasty preparations for the English Test for Professional Title Promotion,this paper emphasizes the importance of improving librarians＇ English level and proposes the means of improving librarians＇ English level and the ways on how to provide better information services for readers by using English.
